Not for Me
I hate heights and I can't abide by anything that shakes or rattles. Guess I won't be traveling to Arizona any time soon to take a walk on the Grand Canyon's new Glass Bridge. It's 4,000 feet above the Colorado River on the very edge of the canyon.
According to the Grand Canyon's Web site, the thing is built to withstand the weight of 71 fully loaded Boeing 747 airplanes as well as an 8.0 magnitude earthquake. That's good to know, but I get the willies crossing the Golden Gate Bridge.
